Pilot unit
NutriProcess keeps at your disposal a Pilot unit for all kind of industrial projects. This pilot unit allows:
- The technical feasibility design studies
fine-tuning of parameters, specifications, functionalities
- The validation of production process
In addition to a laboratory where preliminary studies are conducted (analysis of humidity, pH measurements, granulometry, viscosity, etc…), the pilot unit comprises equipment of flexible capacities which suits the different steps of industrial processes:

- Tanks with capacities ranging from 50 to 500 litres
- A fine-cutting mixer with a disintegrator head, and a head for the preparation of emulsions or colloidal suspensions.
- High pressure homogeneizer (500-700 bars) for producing fine emulsions
- A five-stage plate heat exchanger for pasteurization of liquids.

Powders treatment
|
- Spray-drying tower equipped with a wheel atomizer and bi-fluid nozzle allowing flow and counter-flow, fitted with a filter bag. Evaporating capacity of 10 to 30 liters per hour.
- Top spray flowing air bed for granulation and coating. Capacity from 2 to 5 kg.
- Powder blender (100 liters). Possibility of air or liquid injection.

- Granulation by recycling fines
- Co-drying using a volumetric powder dispenser.
- Possibility of coating with fat matters using the Hot Melt Coating technology
